Desert Safari

I had a wonderful desert safari yesterday with Rayna Tours, and it was truly unforgettable! The highlight of the experience was Mr. Dawood Khan, our guide, who made the entire trip so enjoyable. From the moment he picked us up to when he dropped us off, he kept us laughing and entertained. Mr. Dawood was incredibly gentle, fantastic, and has a mind-blowing personality! His nature is truly lovely, and he made the whole experience special. The rollercoaster ride through the dunes was thrilling, and his driving skills were top-notch. I promise that when I return to Dubai with my family, I will personally request Mr. Dawood again. He made the trip so much fun and memorable. Our family did a morning safari with Muhammad Ali on the 8/12/2024 pick up 8am from Palace Downtown, and he was an exceptional guide, very knowledgeable and lovely. My mother has a bad back and he was very mindful when driving in the desert to ensure she was comfortable. We had a great time and will be booking another tour with Muhammad Ali when we return at the end of December. We are very grateful to have had Muhammad as our guide, highly recommend

There was a misunderstanding and they were angry with him. We didn't mean for it to turn out that way. I really want to say that he is great! Safari Guide Dawood the best ever guide & all time the best

We booked the premium desert safari of rayna tours and the experience far exceeded my expectations. The food was decent and variety was massive including plenty of options for vegetarians. The entertainment was great as well. We’ve tried desert safari before but Rayna was one of the best. We were a family of 5 and all of us enjoyed it. Ater was our guide and driver throughout- he ensured timely communications and reached on time for pickup. He also played brilliant music for the dune bashing experience and clicked superb sunset photos.

We had the most amazing experience for the dessert safari. To begin with our initial reaction with Sunil who sold us the package at the Radisson Beach Resort was going above and beyond to help us & provided so much information to help make our decision. Our driver Muhammad Ali was the star of the show (throughout our whole experience) he was so knowledgeable, provided excellent customer service, such an experienced driver which we felt so confident about throughout the whole drive & dune bashing, and most of all he was so helpful - honestly so grateful we got to experience our first dessert safari with him. The experience overall was a 10/10 - the staff at the camp was amazing & everyone was so polite and helpful.

Dawood Khan was brilliant. He made our trip great and we really enjoyed the whole day with him. His English is great and he is very knowledgeable about Dubai and was giving us some great insights about the beautiful city. He was great on the dunes and we had such a good time. The show would of been better if there was just the belly dancing and the fire show, the others were not very great and I saw alot of people leaving early. Food was great.

We had booked a safari trip. This was very good and the transfer from the hotel was well organised. The driver of the safari was very good and had even made a video of the trip, which he later sent to us. We had a great dinner at the camp. Unfortunately, the vendors at the stalls were very pushy and did not give any verbal price information. The vendors only entered the amount into the credit card machine. The prices for the goods on offer were very expensive. Several attempts were made to sell goods. The vendors were very pushy and annoying.

Zeeshantaseer Jaffrey is exceptionally good

It felt like one of those moments inside of a nightmare, but dune bashing was so much fun! Our Guide Salid was incredibly courteous and helpful, making sure we were all having a good time! He picked us up at our hotel, drove us out to the desert, deflated the Toyota SUV’s tires down to 15psi, then turned on the pulsing techno beats, and gunned it toward the dunes. We were slipping and sliding all over the orange landscape. We saw petrified sand resembling rock, we felt the fine grains washing over the windshield, we rode on the edge of the triangular tops till we tipped over as if in a tumbling fall down to the ground. We stopped and had a chance to surf the sand, carving lines into the dune on what looked like a repurposed snowboard. So awesome gliding down the angled hill! We got a photo op with a friendly camel! Then, we headed to the Bedouin oasis where we rode some camels, drank some tea, ate some dates, dined on delicious bbq, and watched a dazzling, theatrical dance performance! Great time with a fun group!

I was very nervous to bring my 16 month old along on a safari but Haroon took special care of my daughter and kept her safe and entertained. It was a perfect trip, which I will not forget. Our tour guide Muhammed shafeeque was so friendly and gave us a lot of input and background information about all the sightseeings and buildings/ areas during the ride. It was always really nice atmosphere and he was a good and calm driver and he also was really courteous. We visited the Mosque, the Royal palace and the Louvre and could always stay as long as we needed. The best day trip we had during our stay. I would definitely do it again. We always felt like we are in good hands. Definitely 5/5 stars.

while in Dubai, we scheduled an hour ride on camels. We were picked up with the driver at the hotel. He was incredibly friendly and kind. We rode camels for an hour with an incredible camel guide. The animals were sweet and well cared for. our camel guide took incredible photos and videos for us. I cannot say enough about this being something that I will remember for the rest of my life.

From start to finish it was a great experience. I did my booking through Rayna Tours and the lovely Sahil Shabarwal organised all the things myself and family wanted to do. The dune bashing tour of the desert safari was amazing! You get picked up from the hotel to the site and return back to your hotel. Dune bashing definitely isn’t for the weak, however it is very enjoyable. You even have the chance to go quad biking/dune biking after if you wish. You get to take lots of pictures and videos on the tour! Our driver was very humble and nice which made our tour even better. Thank you for giving us a memorable last few days in Dubai :)

Only our driver Salman, the dinner buffet and the show at the last camp were excellent which deserves five star plus! Everything else was under mediocre. The car was not suitable for 6 persons. The two backseats were self-made, uncomfortable, not suitable and insecure for road trips and dune bashing as you were basically sitting at the ground of the trunk (the seats are built into the trunk), so you couldn't sit like on a regular car seat to stretch your legs. The first stop for the camel riding and go-kart renting was completely unnecessary and it was not transparently communicated beforehand that this will be charged extra. It would have been a nicer experience if there was only the stop near the camp for sunset pictures and the stop at the last camp for the dinner buffet and show as there would have been more time to eat more relaxed than in a hurry and there was also the opportunity for camel riding and go-kart driving.

The tour is at some points a bit poor. After arriving in the desert we could go on a quad and camel ride but there was not enough time because after 25 min we left again to the next point in the desert. After a visit to the toilet we thought it would be nice to see the camels. After seeing the big line we decided to take an exclusive tour of 15 min which it only brought us after the hill where they made 10 min picture time and than back.(Its all about the money) We were a bit confused by seeing all the camels going up and down by all these visitors and it made me fee sad to see. At that moment i was petting a camel who lay down and was giving him a sweet cuddle. Before i knew it, a helper came and hit my petting camel extremely hard on his head. WHY?!?! I was jelling to the guy that this was totally NOT necessary as the camel did totally nothing to him?!! I got angry at him but he didn't care and walked of to another camel who dived away by seen his arrival because he made the move of hitting this one as wel!!. The camels are being hit for nothing!! Please people, these camels are being exploited on a very harsh way. Dont drive on them!!! It's pure animal abuse! I went to the organization and made a complaint for this very bad behaviour. They said they made a file but I DO NOT believe this! I went to the police as i hate animal abuse! Camels have a very sweet character, they dont deserve abuse, NO ONE DOES!! PLEASE WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!! ANIMALS HAS RIGHTS TOO!!

The Safari was good, however disappointed with no dancers. We literally had food and left as the dancers did not perform on 15 June, this should have been explained before departure so we may not have been too disappointed

The tour was well organized and we enjoyed everything. Our driver did the dune bashing very well. The dinner was also nicely presented and we had a good time. It could be a bit more opportunity to watch the sun set, eg stop with the car on a hill before coming to the camp.

Dessert Safari by Ratna tours was one of the best safaris I had been to. Especially the guide, Haroor Khan was too patient and very insightful about the safari.

I opted for desert safari. The guide was good. I'm totally disappointed with the dune bashing. It was short, and wasn't exciting. Activities at the camp were good, there were decent amount of performances. Food was terrible, none of the items were tasty.

We loved the camel rides but few thing that were in package not delivered. Driver a sweetheart. Been so overcharged took away the breath and excitement of tour. We booked a Desert Safari for 3 Adults & 2 Kids with Mr John Gamal @The Travel desk and it was absolutely AMAZING! The car picked us up as booked. The driver was very professional and accommodating, the trip was really fantastic with the dune bashing through the desert, camel riding, Sand board bashing, the camp was also amazing, very clean and very tasty food, henna was complimentary offered, plus soft drinks, tea coffee was all inclusive, the entertainment was also fantastic. Overall it was 5 out of 5 stars!!!

We were picked up on time from our hotel and drove down to meeting point after picking up 2 other guests from a nearby hotel. Dune bashing with our guide cum driver Mohd Yunas was a superb experience. Picture with falcon (paid activity), camel ride was okay. When we reached camp, we were greeted with Arabic Coffee and dates, unique combination.. only dampener in the whole experience was food..just short of being labeled pathetic.. both what was served and the way it was served leaves lots of scope for improvement. For example, no bowls were provided- not sure how one takes Kadhi, Daal, gravy, etc. No non veg gravy on menu. Non veg starters were not great. Minus food, it was a very good experience.

Our trip was excellent with an amazing sand dune experience we had with Rizwan. He was an experienced and well trained driver. He was friendly and did take almost care of my family during the trip.

We booked an individual safari excursion (manager) Abdul Mohamed. The service was not provided properly. First of all, manager promised us land cruiser 200 , but arrived prada. The driver was very rude. After 7 minutes of riding, he stopped us and sent us to take pictures. We said that the hotel manager promised us 30 minutes of driving. The driver began to freak out and, without letting us fasten our seat belts again, drove through the desert. When we said that we were scared and asked to stop, he said “it’s my opinion where and when to stay.” We also didn’t have music in the car, although there was music in other cars. We honor your traditions, but we are tourists and want to receive a properly provided service! After all this horror that we experienced and the rudeness of the driver, he stopped and went to eat, leaving us in the car. Why did we have to wait? The driver had to pick us up first and then decide his own affairs, right?

Firstly to start with, I would like to thank Rayna for the amazing experience right from the beginning by picking us on scheduled time and the driver was so professional and then the dune bashing was adventurous and fantastic experience. The driver was so skillful and careful. The desert camp was so pleasant and was entertaining with with the agendas of Arabian Dance, Fire Show, Belly Dance and Tanura Dance. We did dessert safari with manoj, it was the worst experience ever as we did not differentiate between driving on a normal road and doing a dessert safari also there was no dune bashing. Pathetic experience of dessert safari Manoj was a very uninterested driver and did not know how to drive in dessert safari we didn’t have any fun.

I used Rayna Tours for a Desert Safari and the highlight definitely has to be the driver Abrar. He is not only a friendly and accommodative person but a highly skilled off-road driver too. I have done plenty of safaris before but Abrar is super confident behind the wheel. The safari ride overall was very enjoyable, the food was amazing and the only downside was the exorbitant prices charged for the double quad bike. No tour agent should be allowed to charge AED500 for a 20 minute quad bike ride. Otherwise, the whole experience was exceptional...

Unfortunately, I must express my disappointment with the overall experience. From the moment we embarked on the safari, it felt incredibly rushed. The pace of the activities and the itinerary did not allow for a pleasant and immersive experience. Instead, it felt like we were just ticking off boxes on a checklist rather than truly enjoying the beauty of the desert. Moreover, there was a distinct lack of time allocated for each activity. We barely had a chance to take in the stunning scenery or participate fully in any of the offered experiences. This left me feeling unsatisfied and as though I had missed out on what could have been a memorable adventure. Given this experience, I regret to say that I will be exploring other options for future desert safaris. It is essential for me to have ample time to appreciate and immerse myself in the natural wonders and cultural experiences offered by such excursions. I hope you will take this feedback into consideration to improve the quality of your services for future customers.

Hi Folks, Rayna Tour representative Mamed was observed to be very service oriented and polite. He Managed every thing in a timely manner and as per commitment. The tour of Desert Safari was amazing. Drivers and vehicles provided were excellent. Timing of the tour were pleasant. The entertainment and food variety was very good. Overall it was a nice experience. Although because of Ramadan, belle dance performance was not there but rest of things are managed well. Our host Saftain was really friendly and very supportive throughout the journey.

I had good & bad experience while visiting desert safari visit at Dubai. Good experience with car drive, camel ride, and food 👍🏼But In had to face bad experience with management like seating arrangement, when I arrived at Rayna camp they had reserved our seatings and we had checked our seats as we arrived camp with our booked seat with agent names. After returning to camp enjoying side seeing, sun set point and other activities, our seating were gone and some else seat on our table with some other name and we have wait for our seats, we missed the beginning show like belly dance and after having talk with management they arranged our seats at other tables , we had to wait for long to seats and all the excitement had broke to see other programs. So O suggest other people who is going to Rayna, check twice and confirm your seats with management for good experience before beginning of dinner and show.

First off I’d like to thank abdul samlin for the help of booking the tour, it was very easy and no stress what so whenever, Abdul helped us book out tour and organise it so it wasn’t stressful this really did help with the holiday - we had such an amazing experience which included camel rides, driving the buggy’s and also in the cars driving in the desert, we also had a meal with was all kinds of cuisine and very very good food, also had the change to get Hanna tattoo and try Shisha, the entertainment was also good as there was fire dancers as well, one things I’d like to mention and added a special touch was thought out the tour we were offered water as it was very warm this was a special touch that made the trip amazing.

I would like to thank to our driver Zohaib. Me and my mum were very scared from dune bashing and wanted to skip this part of the trip. However Zohaib eplained us everything and was driving carefully, so it turned out to be a really good experience. He also took good care of us and the rest of the group at the camp. Thank you!

The driver provided to us was a 3rd party instead of Rayna tours as they had other clients to looks after on the day. The driver Ghulam Nabi did not speak English properly, took us to an ATV place telling us it was included in the package and when we arrived there said it was an additional charge so he could get a commission. We had to pay Aed 1000 for 4 people for 20 mins of usage. I had told him earlier that it was not in our package and we should go straight to the sand dunes. He wasted 45 mins in the process. When we got the dunes, the tyre of his vehicle came out during the dune bashing within 10 mins. He wasted 20 mins to have this fixed and told us to go take photos in the meantime. When it was fixed we did another 5 mins of dune bashing before he said to get down in a crowded place to see the sunset which lasted for 5-10 mins. Then he started ot rush us to go to the camp. The camp was the only saving grace of the evening as we opted for the VIP package and the food was of a better quality. The free Henna service turned out to be chargable as the lady said she was done for the day when our turn came. We had to pay Aed 30 extra per person for the service. On the way back, he was reminded many times to avoid using his phone while driving. He nearly hit another car on the way. When we were giving him directions of where to go, he would not listen telling he knew the way. He played his punjabi music loudly and we had to ask him to turn it off. He was not friendly nor helpful in any way and spoilt the entire experience.

Our desert safari drive was very well taken care by Mr Zainab Raheem and he had taken time to pitstop for a wonderful coffee-the best part is he was very interactive and made the ride fun

I had a disappointing experience during my desert safari, despite everything else being good, including the food. The driver's attitude left a lot to be desired. He didn't let us enjoy the trip to its fullest and rudely claimed that dune bashing would make us vomit in his car. Additionally, he always seemed in a hurry and lectured us when we were running a bit late. This really soured the entire desert safari experience for us. The driver's behavior was even more disappointing. He refused to wait for us to capture photos, showing a complete lack of patience and understanding. Furthermore, he never even bothered to greet us, which was a significant letdown in terms of customer service. He ruined the wonderful tour which was planned by the company and rushed through everything and did everything the way he wanted.

The Abu Dhabi tour was really great and informative. We had learnt so much of UAE and we’re able to explore that further with the stop overs and input within the tour. The safari was really great in getting to see the real side of Dubai and experiencing life in the desert. Highly recommend to all, was really fun and would do it again.

Amirshahazd was an amazing host. He is a skilled driver so Dune bashing was great fun. The whole event was filled with many thrilling moments. The day contained memorable dunebashing, camel rides, great food and a great atmosphere. Definetely would recommend and visit again. A Dubai desert safari with dune bashing is an adventure like no other. The adrenaline-pumping activities and the breathtaking scenery with live entertainment and BBQ dinner are all engrossing.

When it comes to entertainment, La Perle show breaks all the record. It was touching to see the performers going length to spellbind spectators. We loved the show immensely and will watch it again.

Driving 4x4 was very good - amazing experience and the driver made sure we were safe the whole time. Our drivers name was Munir Ahmed. It was good seeing the camels - we were able to visit a farm and also have a ride on their back. We were also able to try sand boarding which was very fun. The camp experience - performance, food, activities (trying an arab outfit and henna) - was amazing. Overall it was a very good experience and I highly recommend.

- our dune bashing wasn’t a very good experience - our drivers car wasn’t working, so had to wait for another car (took long) - communication with the second driver was an issue, he was rude, angry, and annoying - Abid did a really good job (first driver) - henna lady was very judgemental -I did not even ask her to make me a big design (I think she was frustrated from the other customers there) but she couldn’t mask her feelings - food, hookah, drinks were very good - entertainment shows were good too I travelled on 4-april

I can't recommend Rayna Tours' Premium Desert Safari enough. The 4X4 dune bashing was the best off-road experience. The desert sunset views were something we never experienced before. The desert camp was comfortable and designed with a touch of luxury where we savored delicious BBQ dinner and immersed ourselves in the cultural shows.

I highly recommend the Premium Desert Safari to anyone visiting Dubai. The dune bashing is out-of-the-world experience, and the sunset views from the desert are breathtaking. I also tasted Arabian hospitality in the camp and had a good time participating in cultural activities and tasting delectable cuisines.

This Private Desert Safari with Rayna Tours was like stepping into a dreamland. The sun setting over the desert produced a captivating backdrop which was soothing to the eyes. I got immersed in cultural activities and the Emirati traditions.

The quad bikes were in great shape, and the guide gave absolute consideration towards our safety all throughout the tour. I enjoyed the whole activity of riding through the sand dunes all by myself.

Great tour!!! Easy organisation through our hotel Voco Dubai for the same day. Easy organisation through wonderful driver and guide Mr. Brown - make sure to always ask for him when booking this tour!!! From everything offered the Dune Bashing including special Fotoshoot by Mr. Brown himself was clearly the highlight!!!! Closely followed from the Quad tour where we also were really lucky with our guide while speeding through the desert and shooting some amazing sundowner pictures!!! The camp itself with show and food was nice. Only thing we disliked was the pushy nature of the clerks; but I guess you have to deal with this at all kind of touristic spots like this.

The desert safari was a new experience for us. We had a super experienced and nice tour guide Munir, who showed us the magic of the desert. During the rapid drive through the dunes, we always felt very safe in his hands and we didn't miss out on having fun. MUNIR, thank you. Sitting on comfy chairs installed on a platform with our feet dangling and having a sky-high lunch was a wonderful feeling. The panoramic views of Dubai’s amazing sight from the sky were a bonus.

What a fantastic day / night we had in the Hummer Never done a desert safari and it was great Our driver looked after us from start to finish The dune driving was wow! You have to experience as no words. The weather was quite mild so very enjoyable We did the extra quad biking which again was very well organised Entertainment and food later just finished a great day off Well recommended

Sufyan Saleem our Safari Guide made this trip most memorable. He was knowledgeable of the area buildings as we were driving to the desert. He also, held us DOWN in the desert. He was an Excellent driver, had great music playing. He was extremely pleasant and very friendly. Don't think twice take this tour and request Suyfan! Trust me it's an experience of a lifetime!!! excellent arrangements including a latest SUV with outstanding drivers skills, camp is great however the Quade bike rental is extremely expensive at 100 Dhs rate per 15 minutes which is double the price comparing to other camps, night shows are limited and we were asked to leave the camp suddenly before 87 pm which was very short and it least the camp events should be extended till 9:30 pm as it felt short and we could not enjoy the place.
